Wood displays different grain patterns depending on which way they are cut - for example, the 'medullary ray' which can appear on oak furniture is a mark of good quality timber, these are just characteristics of the natural beauty of the wood. Wood veneers also allow distinctive patterns to be created on some surfaces, such as table tops and drawer fronts by the way slivers are arranged. All timber and veneer surfaces will change colour and mellow over time. New furniture will initially vary in shade from items that have been previously purchased.

WARRANTY :

UPHOLSTERY & TIMBER We warranty our timber and upholstered products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 2 YEARS from date of purchase. Any fabric care is the responsibility of the customer. Appropriate fabric care labels are attached to the product.

FABRICS & FINISHES Some natural variations occurring in wood, leather or other materials are inherent to their character, and cannot be avoided. Therefore they are not considered defects. Oreily Design does not warrant the colourfastness or matching of colours, grains or textures of such materials.

EXCLUSIONS The above warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear which is to be expected over the course of ownership. They do not cover damage caused by abuse, accident, misuse, soiling, negligence, tampering and acts of God or terrorism. In no event shall Oreily Design be responsible for the consequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use, inconvenience, loss or damage to personal properties, whether directly or indirectly. This warranty applies to home usage only. Oreily Design does not warranty commercial, office, contract or any other non-residential usage. Our warranties are only valid to the original purchaser and do not cover any transportation costs

DO NOT use alcohol or spirit based cleaning products as these will deteriorate the sur- face. Nail polish will wreck your table. Any cleaning products should be silicone free. Do not leave your timber products in direct sunlight for extended periods. This can cause splitting or warping of timber, cracking of polish or discolouration. Coasters etc may leave a ‘shadow’ if left in one position for lengthy periods. Avoid placing your products in the direct path of air conditioners or too close to any heating device. A little commonsense and maintenance will ensure you have many years of trouble free service from the product you have chosen.
